THE HAIR QUESTION......A few people now have asked me why I cut all my hair off, so I decided I would just make it crystal clear............I was sick and tired of society dictating what beauty should be. I don't need long, flowing, chemically processed hair to be defined as beautiful. You see beauty comes from the inside and works its way out and I thank God for purifying my heart so that I may let beauty begin to radiate from me.I am not may hair........I too had a few scares when the doctors thought I had breast cancer, but God was right there and the second test always said NO! (PRAISE GOD). Each time, I began to think about those who have suffered with cancer and lost their hair. They were still gorgeous! One day I woke up and said its time.......I cut my hair off almost 3 years ago and have never given a second thought to letting it grow back. If you want to see long hair you better look at one of those old pictures of me because I am walking confidently in the person that I am now - I AM FREE!!
I encourage everyone to shed the mask, "BE REAL" and love yourself for who you are - NOT FOR WHO OR WHAT SOCIETY WANTS YOU TO BE!
