Junior Kigwa was born Didier Mugambi on April 10th in Rwanda, and started to sing at an very early age. "music has always been a part of my life from childhood to now and it is also a very Powerful medium to communicate to each-other ".... Junior Kigwa music is extraordinarily different and features a wide range of different musical styles like Reggae, Dub, Soul, hip hop and traditional Kinyarwanda...He is blessed with a gift, his voice! It is a warm and melodic voice that he is able to modulate in various tone with empowering and conscious lyrics charged with wisdom and a positive vision delivered with passion. He has been singing and writing songs since his early teens performing at school events or jammin with friends. In Germany Junior Kigwa(under the name of Rankin Diddy) found himself performing with many local and national artists and Soundsystems such as Sir Larsie I, Lobster Sound and the Fireball SoundSystem from Cologne.He has also worked with International Producers, bands and artists such as Zoe, OkadaSupersound, Fitta Warri, Neil Perch (Zion Train) and as a part of Abassi Allstars. Kigwa performed on diverse European reggae shows and festivals like Summerjam, One Love festival, Africa festival and many more...Debut album "UNTOLD STORY" coming soon!!!!
