BIOGRAPHYFilm school started for Frank when his parents began dropping him off at the Universal Studios backlot everyday after school when he was just twelve years old. No one thought of stopping a little kid sailing through the gates to sneak onto countless film sets. Most of the time he got lucky. But occasionally he got the boot from some unlikely people. Through the years Frank soaked up filmmaking on the sets of such masters as (Independence Day) Roland Emmerich, (Harry Potter) Chris Columbus, and (Back to the Future) Robert Zemeckis.Once high school was nearing its end, Frank wanted to skip film school altogether, but took the advice to go to college after a chance encounter with Steven Spielberg. So Frank pillaged Loyola Marymount University..s film school of their equipment as often as he could and built up a stable of music videos, commercials and shorts. During his second year in college, Frank signed with Propaganda Film..s Satellite division alongside fellow directors Spike Jonze and Mark Romanek where he got to learn first hand from the cutting edge masters.10 years later and Frank has helped shape the careers of such multi-platinum selling artists as Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duran Duran, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Story of the Year, Cypress Hill and Xzibit among others.Throughout the years Frank has had over a dozen number 1 videos on TRL with many of them being retired after so many days on the countdown. His many accolades range from the Much Music and Billboard Music awards to MTV. Frank also has the honor of directing MTV..s most requested and played video of 2003 for Good Charlotte..s ..The Anthem...Frank..s work created a buzz in advertising as well with his now infamous three spot campaign for Tommy Hilfiger. Frank..s commercial clients include Bud Light, Partnership of a Drug Free America, Made Clothing and Beverly Hills Bookie.com. Frank has infused his narrative gift of storytelling into his music videos, which has led him into the world of feature films. Frank is attached to direct the feature film ..Kidnapped.. for Lions Gate Films. It is expected to head into production sometime soon. In the meantime Frank is doing what he does best.. directing videos for today..s crop of cutting edge artists and developing various feature film projects.
