Welcome to my little tiny corner in cyber space! I enjoy meeting new friends and cool people here. I have many interests and like trying new things. While I would be interested in meeting a nice guy, I'm not putting myself on here for the meat market scene. So please no spam love letters! Yes I have gotten a few of those! Anyways, below are a few of my likes-Starry nights where you can see forever, thunderstorms and rainy days, beautiful sunsets, the smell of fresh mown grass, a purring cat, a romping pup, the smell of a new car, thinly sliced French Dip sandwiches, cheese pizza, a blazing firepit on a January night, a crisp November day and the crunch of the blazing leaves, the warm breeze of a summer night, softly falling snow, the smell of a fireplace on a freezing December night, the smell of Russian Olive trees in early June.I like to write short stories, long stories, poems and anything in between. Like to read 'em too. Will read anything from 1000 page novels to the National Enquirer. My favorite books right now are historical- I'm into the history of the western states, Wyoming, Colorado, the Dakotas, since thats the region where I'm from.I'm a Pisces so true to nature I am probably too sensitive for my own good- and I am artistic and creative, guess thats why I like food and cooking. Like to draw and used to be pretty good when I was younger, but am probably quite rusty now. I play the violin, cello and string bass, again that was a few years back but with a little practice I'd probably be right back in the swing of things. Am trying to teach myself the guitar and while its similiar to the other strings, it is a bit different. Like to sing, but mostly in the car, I find the accoustics in the automobile quite good!;)I love to travel, but haven't been too much of anywhere exciting lately. Mostly local travel.... I am sometimes envious of my best friend who has been traveling the world lately.Well lets move on to more exciting information: I've been all over the US and overseas. I have been to Europe, Iceland, Canada, Mexico, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Martinique, Bermuda- LOVE Bermuda- the beaches really are pink~ Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Aruba, St. John, Costa Rica I have been to all of the islands or most of them several times. I have also made a couple of trips through the Panama Canal!Lyle Lovett In My Own Mind .. ..
