The choice of "my friends" here reflects some of my interests (although many of "my friends" are not in their bodies any more, but I really feel their presence in my life ). My interests in life are like my interest in poetry -- i like passionate, real stuff, everything from Rumi to Bukowski, including Polish Nobel Prize winners in poetry - Czeslaw Milosz and Wislawa Szymborska, or Joesph Conrad's fascinating poetic prose, like
"Heart of Darkness" (his real, Polish name was Jozef Korzeniowski), that help to shed some light on this great mystery of why we are here, what is the meaning of it all, on this Beautiful Planet, in this physical (quantum) reality, in this Universe(s) .
..................."You never enjoy the world aright till the sea itself floweth in your veins, till you are clothed with the heavens and crowned with the stars; and perceive yourself to be the sole heir of the whole world, and more than so, because men are in it who are every one sole heirs as well as you..." -- from "Centuries of Meditations", by Thomas Traherne, 17th century (!).--------------------------------------------------------

I'd like to meet:
I am looking for skilled EMPATHS, who don't fight their own feeling nature and are comfortable talking about their feelings and mystical journeys -- people who feel a lot, who are sensitive, caring, and creative. I am a very creative person -- and i consider following my heart's passion a highest form of creativity -- being a devoted mother, a life-time Yoga teacher, an artist, a poet, a writer, and a vocalist.____________
Friends: people of both sexes who have courage to be real, present and trusting...I've been creating a real life support system of Kindred Spirits, so please feel free to drop me a line, if you are interested.
I want to create loving relationships with skilled empaths and nurturers, open minded and open-hearted, high energy souls with pleasing personalities.
"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights." Maya Angelou.............."............... I am here to extend my "comfort zone" and meet interesting people from different walks of life whom I would normally never meet... I click best with spiritual, artistic, visionary activists -- helpmates who can actually act on their spiritual beliefs, whose aim in life is to support Dharma of humanity while requesting Divine Guidance and Intervention, surrendering to it through acts of faith, freedom, compassion, true partnership, and service to the world. Often this kind of "old soul" awareness is revealed by going through difficult, painful experiences, "the dark night of the soul"...My favorite people are those whose hearts and minds have been softened by some trying experiences, so they have receptivity and wonder necessary to accept the world AS IS -- including themselves, courage to change the things that need to be changed, and " the wisdom to know the difference"...I am talking about acceptance not as some idealized, passive state, but as a constant, dynamic, courageous, and often humbling PRACTICE of revealing our soul's Inner Peace and creativity. This Peace is our True Self -- my passion is to reveal it -- just one day at at a time, one hour at a time, and sometimes ...one breath at a time -- like in Yoga poses, LOL, letting go into the unknown......

Music:
"The artist, functioning in this "proper" way, is the true seer and prophet of his century, the justifier of life and as such, of course, a revolutionary far more fundamental in his penetration of the social mask of his day than any fanatic idealist spilling blood over the pavement in the name simply of another unnatural mask. From The Inner Reaches of Outer Space" -- Joseph Campbell.
Besides my children, our dog, our home -- music is one of two things i honestly cannot live without. The other thing is a caring friend to talk and hug...
My taste in music is very eclectic:
Everything But the Girl, everything by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Samba in general (love those Brasilian drums!), Marvin Gaye, S.Wonder, Bjork, U2, John Mayer, L.Cohen, Sade -- to name just a few examples. I love jazz, gospel, some opera, blues, classic rock, alternative, classical, kiirtans, bhajans, euro-folk, and lots and lots more!!!
Movies:
"It is through art, and through art only, that we can realize our perfection." Oscar Wilde"What the Blip Do We Know", "Whale Rider", "Spinal Tap", "Matrix", "Blade Runner", "Dr Jackyl and Mr Hyde", "Amelie", "Lord of the Ring", to name just a few.
My beloved oldie for lifting my mood: "Ann of Green Gables".
Sometimes it's the actors, sometimes the script writer, sometimes the whole team that I love. But most of the time it's the director I go for.
Some directors are so great, that I want to see each and every movie they've directed and I love the passion with which they talk about their work. Milos Forman ("Amadeus") is such a cool, passionate story teller -- the way he talks about the making of "Firemen's Ball" warms my heart, I just want to grab him and give him a hug; he knows how it was like to live under communism, and his sense of humor is so contagious...Scorcessee is another incredible example. There is something magical about Herzog, Bunuel, Fellini, R.Scott, J. Ford... I find Polish directors spellbounding : Polanski, Kieslowski, Wajda (the Polish "star" in his movies, Zbigniew Cybulski, was so much ahead of his times, just like James Dean here). And women directors like Agnieszka Holland, Mira Nair, and Julie Taymor -- simply amazing! I am a big fan of music videos, too -- I can never get enough of Bjork's fantasy world...
Television:
Anything by Bill Moyers.I don't watch TV too often, but i do like public TV - nature, science, history. Also Starting Over, Startrek, X-files,some dr.Phill, and some comedy, but I have it on DVDs (Seinfeld), or YouTube (Jon Stewart,Bill Hicks, etc). I have to mention RADIO SHOWS on KPFK 90.7FM, or kpfk.org (Roy of Hollywood -- "Radio for the night people" ,( to my friends in Europe -- you can listen during your day-time hours!), "Aware", "Inner Vision", G. Null with his health info, E. Ray with her "Radio Alchymy". I am sooo grateful for Alan Watts and all the rest of consciousness, health, news, and political info.,( even though I do not agree with those political views that are too much to the left -- communism didn't work, and it put itself to the grave of history, so we need to do the same in order for us to HONOR 100 millions of its victims... I was born and raised in Poland, so those who think they "know better", but never experienced it directly, are full of B.S.)
I also love HayHouseRadio.com.
Books:
spiritual books (like "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Yogananda)....... consciousness raising and healing(C.Myss, B.Brennan, L.Hay, D.Virtue, E. C.Pinkos, J.Borysenko) ........ truth revealing (Jordan Maxwell, Michael Tsarion, David Icke, Greg Palast, Dave Emory, Alex Jones, etc).........Science Fiction -exploring philosophical themes; speculation on technology, the nature of intelligence( Stanislaw Lem)........... ab.history (like "Forgotten Holocaust" by Richard C. Lukas and Norman Davies -- about what Polish people had to go thru during WWII )... ............ Books are my best friends -- I have over 1100 books in my living room -- they thought me how to really THINK, not just believe the religious and political propaganda, and one needs a good mind to balance passionate emotions ....... I also love books about psycho-spiritual matters ( like J. Hillman's "Blue Fire", J.Bradshaw's "Homecoming", or D.Deida's "Finding God through Sex")........Right now I am reading "LIES MY TEACHER TOLD ME -Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong", by J.W.Loewn);Astrology:
First of all I started from studying Linda Goodman's work, and i strongly recommend all her books.
"Spiritual Astrology. Your personal path to self-fulfillment" --by Jan Spiller and Karen McCoy.Another important book:
"The Astrologer's Handbook", by Frances Sakoian and Lois S. Acker."You are ready to transform a trying situation into one that makes everyone smile. It's not that you are being a Pollyanna; it's just that you have an uncanny ability now to bring out the positive instead of getting stuck in past negativity. Don't try to measure your effectiveness, for the magic disappears as soon as you attempt to quantify the results." (Steven Levine at Tarot.com)

Raw food recipes -- DELICIOUS!: LINK: 'From Sad to Raw' )MICHAEL TSARION -- "God's Other Devil"
"Swallow the animal! That is the way to transform it.
That is the way to transmute lower energies into higher energies.
You are given a great opportunity. You have been thrown out of the sea -- this is the opportunity; expelled from the Garden of Eden -- this is the opportunity. Adam can become Christ if he uses the opportunity well. Use the opportunity: eat the animal, digest the animal. Don't try to cut it off, otherwise you will become poorer. Don't try to destroy it as your so-.called saints have been doing down the ages, otherwise you will be dull and dead, insipid.
Don't repress it, otherwise it will take revenge -- the animal is animal.
One day it will jump upon you with such vengeance that you will be destroyed by it.
And don't try to persuade it because it cannot be persuaded. Its demands are infinite, its thirst cannot be quenched by anything. Give it anything and it immediately asks for something more. The 'more' is its very way of living.
So don't befool yourself that cigarettes and ice cream and things like that will help the animal to subside and to be calmed. No, you will need great insight into the animal, you will need great acquaintance with the animal. You will need very deep awareness of the working of the animal. And you will have to digest it slowly slowly, gradually, so that one day the animal becomes part of your being.
The animal has great energy, that's why it is called animal.
'Anima' means aliveness, power, vitality; 'animal' means one who is vital. The saints cut their roots from the animal; they became non-vital. That's why they have not been able to transform the whole world -- they were not even able to transform their own selves. They became impotent. Rather than becoming more potent, rather than becoming omnipotent, they became impotent. Hence I am not for suppression.
I am for understanding, I am for transformation. And if the animal is transformed and absorbed by the essence, you will feel great power, great fire. Your life will become such a passionate affair with existence, you will have such intensity, that each moment will give you the joy of an eternity." - OSHO

If you're always
Flying off to blue perfection?
Where
