"Don’t just sit there and allow life to happen to you. Go out and take charge if you want change, but it begins by making a change within yourself." - Seal
Certainly, Certainly (The Peace Factor)
Tell me, she said; what is peace? He smiles & said; have a seat, here's a cup of water.
She said; Am fine as I am, but thanks anyway. Peace I said.. He smiles again & said; it is to sit down & reflect on what matter most & what matter less in one's life, & how much more time needed to nurture those important aspect of one's life.
Peace my dear, he said; is to sit down & reflect on the cause of unfulfilled promises made, & how to fulfill them. For a promise is a promise.
Peace he said; is to sit down & reflect on possible remedies to an impending rift, (forgiveness, kindness & patience are concerned) rather than engulfing in an unending siege.
Peace you see my dear, he said; is to be able to sit up in the morning & sigh in joy that your effort of yesterday regardless of how meagre it might seem to you, yet helped to make yesterday better, & from this dawn unward, you will do more within your scope to make today a better day that reaches out into tomorrow.
Peace my dear, he said; is you & I here, inspite of our differences, yet listening & understanding one another.
So, she asked; am I part of peace? Certainly, certainly, he said, we all are.
