NAZERINE "WELCOME TO LOVE MUSIC SPACE"

About Me

The entertainment industry spotlight has taken a liking to R&B/Pop songstress Nazerine who is said to have the makings of a new incredible female performance icon. Since her youthful steps into the modeling scene at age 10, the starlet recognized the power of commanding the stage. “The day my feet touched the stage and I felt the heat of the spotlight hit my face, that’s when I knew in some way, I had to be an entertainer,” says Nazerine. Always the energetic presence in front of a camera-news crews, model scouts, or audience participation-and never one to shy away, Naz, a moniker she’s often called, is fulfilling her dreams of musical stardom, one step at a time.“I want the world to feel me,” the singer/songwriter exclaims. “With every piece of my music, with everything you hear and see, with everything I am able to reveal, you’re getting another piece of me.” Naz’s passionate love of music and performing began as a child in her home state of Maryland where her father would regularly take her to a vast array of concerts from world-renowned Japanese jazz band Hiroshima, pop sensation Janet Jackson, to the soulful Patti LaBelle among others. The visual element combined with the musical component of a live concert enthralled the future singer to no end. While still in high school, Naz began hosting a cable television show for aspiring singers and entertainment companies. New talent was encouraged to visit the show with special guests including top recording artists Wyclef Jean, Busta Rhymes, and Bad Boy recording artist Loon. Naz also made guest appearances on the BET network and has done voice-over parody work for several hit radio stations. Before long, Naz’s took to writing poetry, which later led to her first attempts at songwriting. She received affirmation of her growth as a writer when personal invitations were given to her to collaborate on a number of upcoming music projects with other prominent songwriters including producer Tank (of Underdogs).Naz began to write and perform songs later even beginning to establish a new body of work for her 1st album with independent producer Brandon "B-Heat" Broadnax from Washington DC ,who was establishing a new multimedia powerhouse company, B-Heat Productions. Both Naz and B-Heat put together a audio/visual masterpiece "The Forbidden" which is often compared to the notable works of superstar artists like Janet Jackson, J-Lo, Ciara, Beyonce and so many other honorable music icons. This collaboration includes songs written by both Naz & B-Heat, songwriter Nora Payne (whose discography includes hits for Michael Jackson, Brandy, J-Lo, Will Smith, and Tony Braxton), along with up & coming producer/arranger, Isreal Bell of VA. Influenced by some of the greatest performers to date, Naz envisions herself as a multi-faceted artist whose music flourishes with versatility. “There are so many sides to me and my music embraces just that. As an artist, I want to evoke that same emotion that I felt when I would watch Michael Jackson or Prince display the visual interpretation of their music. When I sing about love, I want you to experience it. When I sing about passion, I want it to consume you,” Naz states. Looking toward the future, Naz knows no bounds and welcomes others to step into her world as she unleashes a new chapter in her life story.Naz's "The Forbidden" album defies all laws and inhibitions of today's music & entertainment scene. This project reaks of cutting-edge, upbeat versatilty from the sexy, middle-eastern influenced track of the song "Baby You", to the urban smash, club/dance/go-go influenced "Sign Me Up", to the reggaetone undertones of the tastefully seductive song "The Forbidden", Naz's talent and life shines through in this project, captivating audiences everywhere until they can't wait to get another taste of "The Forbidden" by the new female sensation Naz.
