READ ON... FOR THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT ART IS ALL ABOUT, LET ME TELL YOU THIS... The need to reach inside ourselves and manipulate our unconscious feelings is universal. We all do it to some degree, whether through the expression of music, writing, or art, although most of the time we are blind to what we are doing. I like to stretch out my canvas on the floor, put music on, dance around the canvas letting music's rhythm dictate my style.. One of the purposes of art is to allow us indirect access to our inner psyche. Great art affords a way to get in touch with the unconscious part of our existence, even if we don't realize what we are doing. As an artist, I try to create something that, when viewed by an observer, evokes unconscious feelings and emotions that have been longing within. Let it out... let yourself go, clear your conscious mind of thoughts and preconceptions & allow yourself to be influenced by what you are seeing. Let my works take you to a higher state of consciousness, a meditative trance, say hello to Harmony. J

Simplicity isn’t easy to achieve. We get so used to complexity as an ambient norm that we begin, consciously or unconsciously to project it through our lives. What is simple to me, may be complex to someone else. And then complex to me later. It’s like the cycle of life.In art, it means to explicate the complex and simple elements of the work in question, to analyze in order to find its meaning. There is a key balance that must be struck between complexity and simplicity in art. Just as it is in our lives, complexity is a necessary evil, but it is only necessary if a simpler solution does not exist.This is my art.For my paintings, I mainly work with acrylic, although I tend to work with mix media. My style is that I paint with a process of creation, destruction and renewal. Each layer showing elements of the previous layer, creating an end result of unique shape, colour and form. For my drawings, I work with a combination of graphite or pastels, and acrylic finishing.Those who know me will tell you that I'm a crazy spontaneous person. But they will also tell you that I'm usually in CRUZE MODE most times. Sometimes I'll pull things apart and learn to put them back together again - doesn't always happen ****************************************************** Have a passion for charity work and a lot of my time is spent helping the less fortunate ****************************************************** I'm a believer that you can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can never close your heart to things you don't want to feel.
