About Me

Hey there, change is good sometimes, so I'm changing my "band details" to reflect the current situation. In the past, I've had various text in this area of my page telling you a bit about what I like to do, namely play bass and write, with the focus on Nashville since that's where I live and work mostly. However, I'm heading out with a killer blues, swamp funk, soul, second line, zydeco mixture called the Rockin Jake Band and I'll be coming to a town near you at some point in the very near future. Check out Jake in my top for a preview. I'm still involved with some fantastic folk in Nashville like Jeremy Baldwin, who's album is currently taking college radio by storm, David Lee, (www.davidleemusic.com) an extremely successful country writer I get to play with on showcases here and there, and many other indie and local artists which you can find in my top, ie Chris Griffin, Joe Bidewell, Kevin Ball, Bryan Clark, Jeremy Holt and Wide Open Rock Opry. Be sure to check them out in my top friends, all have music posted and it's mighty fine. Props to the good people of the STL, I'll be seeing you real soon in some of my old haunts y'all. Hit me up... BTW, the songs that are posted here are my own compositions, and don't reflect what you'll hear if you come to see Rockin Jake, however, there may be a few that make it into the set at some point in the future. Happy Trails...
