About Me

Hey there good people!! My name is Jon and I hit things for a living. I count to four most of the time I hit said things. It's just easier. I like simple, imperfect music. Sushi. Cymbals. Black Beauties. Baseball. Rhubarb. Analog tape. Old country music. Thelonius Monk. Johnny Cash. That silly little band called The Beatles. Jim Keltner. San Francisco. Travel. Quarter Pounders with Cheese. Ice cream Sandwiches. Cool. Now that that is cleared up............I'm in a band called The Beggars' Guild. It's pretty good. We sound like our records. I know.......I know........it's kind of strange. Apparently it's not that cool to sound like your record or be able to play what's on your record. I guess we will be looked over by all the "hipsters", but I like it and I think you would too. Come check us out sometime. We are like a favorite old pair of jeans. Comfortable. Promise. Besides The Beggars' Guild I play with The Rupert's Orchestra and do sessions for people who think I might do their songs justice. Suckers. If you need Gretsch or Ludwig drums, contact me. I'll hook ya up!! Also, I'll try to keep this up to date more than I have. Please stop by on occasion and check out tunes, thoughts, and pix. Peace.
