Hey everybody, it's me Mike Zimmerman originally from Cleveland/Akron Ohio. I’ve been playing music for over 25 years. I play guitar, bass and some keys. I even dabble in songwriting. But my passion is DRUMMING! I have some formal music education but mostly I am self-taught. I constantly listen to the greats and play with really talented people. I’ve studied with Charlie Adams of Yanni, who has a big Buddy Rich vibe. And Bob McKee, who played on the Mike Douglas show.I moved to Nashville in 2000 to pursue my dream of playing music for a living. I currently play for Country Artist Tracy Byrd and Country legend Doug Stone.I also play with some great up and coming Pop, Rock, Blues and Country artists. I like to stay as busy as possible, so I'm available fill-in gigs and recording sessions. I can also do on-line sessions if you're into that sort of thing.I Endorse Aquarian Drum Heads
