I listen to just about anything. My favorite band of all times is U2, some others include Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, New Order and Smashing Pumpkins. I like 80's music, some classic rock, alternative rock, techno, trance, spanish rock & pop, merengue, perico ripiao- which is my favorite type of music to dance to, reggeaton, salsa, & bolero.

I love comedies- "Borat" is absolutely, positively the funniest movie ever made!!!! All the Mike Myers movies, Leslie Nielson stuff, Mr. Bean, "Office Space," "Dumb & Dumber"...& EVERYTHING Michael Moore has ever made...I also love romantic comedies (chick flicks) like "13 Going On 30", "Just Like Heaven" but my favorite movie is "The Notebook." I'm not 2 crazy about psy-fi (fake) movies nor action ones because they are too violent. I also like watching documentaries, independent and foreign films. I highly suggest that people watch an "Inconvenient Truth". Generally, I like movies that offer insight rather than just plain entertainment. I'm an analyst at heart so I really enjoy watching movies and trying to figure out what else is the filmmaker trying to convey.

Television:
I LOVE TELEVISION! I'M A REALITY TV JUNKY...BUT BY FAR THE BEST REALITY TV SHOW ON RIGHT NOW IS MAN VS WILD ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL. If u haven't watched it yet you guys have to try to catch atleast one show- that's all it takes to get hooked. I like to watch 48 Hours Mystery, Dateline, the Discovery Channel, Discovery Health and PBS. I also love Spanish "Novelas." Aside from them being extremely addictive, they are very entertaining and there is also an interesting dynamic not captured on American television. I love The Simpsons and the Family Guy and having lived in RI for so long I can really relate to alot of the stuff they talk about on the show. I like some of the stuff on "Adult Swim", "Seinfeld" was my favorite of all times and once in a while I catch the reruns. I absolutely LOVE "My name is Earl" & "The Office" those shows are so funny. I also like the British version of the "Ali G Show"-it's very different from the HBO stuff- very different...
Books:
I like reading about marxism, newspapers that aren't influenced by the corporate media- such as the "Socialist Worker" (it's online you guys should check it out); Other enjoyable reading materials include enlightenment, spirituality, Ayurveda and other Eastern philosophies, The Art of Compassion by the Dalai Lama, books by Connie Mendez and I love greek mythology.
