And I don’t know what to do. The bursar’s office is tripping
Talking about I ain’t got the money to pay the tuitionI’m wishing it was back in the day And I was a kid
Back at my mom’s crib again Can’t depend on so called friends
And this world shows no love For a cat with no endsI hit a wall called a hard knock life I feel I helped to build this bridge
With my fridge thirsting for food I was given a prepaid attitude
Ready to flip on dudes And I ain’t even tripping that
My whip ain’t got shoes You gotta pay your duesâ€

That sweet potato pie, Knawmean?As I get my Philly, Split it dump it and refill it so high
I then flick a lighter with a flame so high It burns my eyes
Dreams of living a long life But for now I’m ready to dieYou say I never knew a hard days work,Then why are my hands covered with blisters
And why do I pick up the telephone And dial my mother’s numbers so much
And hang up Afraid to tell her I miss her
Because that’s not what a man would do, Would he, should he?Anyway my minds on the runway Preparing to take off

My influences vary, I can be influenced to create my poetry by a number of things. I am influenced by Triumphs of life, mixed with pain and drenched with lies. If You name it it is a part of me, and if it is a part of me it has influence no matter how much or little. The funny thing is you can only deny the truth for so Long before it no longer wishes to tolerate it. And when you piss of the truth it has a funny way of coming back to smack you in the face at the worst possible time. So with that said I will remind you I am influenced by smiles and cries, love and hate. I am influenced by truth and lies, hellos and goodbyes. They all have there place and If I were to deny any of these joys or pains I would not be a mortal man, and that REAL! Many people fail to realize that Poetry is all around us. If you choose to capitalize on it wonderful! Big ups to you but if you don't someone else will tell your story for you, but no one can document your feelings like you.
