This is me, Marilyn:
I was born in 1958. This is me when I was a toddler:
I'm 49 years old, married with grown kids & grandkids. I grew up in the 60's & 70's which I wouldn't trade for anything. I was lucky enough to be alive when Elvis was, to have seen the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show (via our black & white TV), to remember the original Mickey Mouse Club, and to have heard "Imagine" by John Lennon on the radio when it was a new song.

Your Psyche is Violet
You are spiritual, intuitive, and serene.
People trust you to rescue them from bad situations, and you usually come through.
While you are quite enlightened, you find that your path is very lonely.
When you are too violet: you can't connect to ordinary life or ordinary people
When you don't have enough violet: you lack wisdom and can't learn from the past

My Interests

Listening to awesome music. Reading non-fiction, mainly dealing with the paranormal but I also love biographies & lots of other subjects. I love the History Channel. Egyptology is particularly fascinating, also the history of Rome and Medieval Europe. My main interest in life is feeding my brain. I love to learn. Update: I have a new hobby. Taking pictures in cemetaries and haunted places. See my pics for my latest orb pictures. I will post more when I have them. I'm hoping to be lucky enough to photograph some unusual ectoplasm or ghostly mist.

Please watch the following video. If you are able, please donate what you can to help these people provide free health care for Americans desperately in need. This organization is called Remote Area Medical. They truly work on a shoe string to perform essential medical and dental and vision procedures for people who would otherwise go without. What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

I'd like to meet:

Check out this SNL video parody of Palin and Clinton. Very funny!

To watch any videos you'll first need to press the stop button on the music player.

People I'd like to meet: I'm sure I'll be adding to this section often. Here are the people that come to mind right away. Freddie Mercury!!!! but I would settle for meeting any member of Queen.John Lennon or any former Beatle.Abraham LincolnEdgar CayceProfessor Michiu KakuArt BellK.D. LangJohn KerryElton JohnJohnny Cash & June CarterMichael MooreOprah WinfreyMika! (He's so adorable!)My Spirit Guide(It does not matter to me which side of the veil they are currently living on)John Edward or James Van Praagh (mediums that I admire)Steve Irwin(I'm drawing a blank but I know I'll think of more.)

I enjoy animals. This video is adorable and funny:

Music:

I could go on forever here. Number one: QUEEN!! Here is a video of Queen in 1979, performing "39" live with Freddie doing vocals. The studio version has Brian May singing lead vocals.

Other favorite artists are the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elton John, K.D. Lang, Erasure, Los Lonely Boys, Mika, Patsy Cline, Aerosmith, Chavela Vargas, Mariachi music, Lola Beltran, the Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Sam Cooke, Little Richard, Prince, Solomon Burke, Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" and "Sexual Healing", Jewel, Garth Brooks, the Animals, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Temptations, Bobby Darin, Jimmie Rodgers, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis & Led Zeppelin. I also enjoy the Village People and the Pet Shop Boys. As you can see, I'm extremely eclectic in my music taste and most other things as well.

I love live concerts and have seen many. The most memorable ones have been Johnny Cash (twice), Little Richard, K.D. Lang, Elton John, 1964 (Beatles Tribute Band), Charlie Daniels, Ringo Starr (He's so lovable), and Los Lonely Boys. I've seen many live concerts but the ones I named were nothing other than AWESOME! I became a Queen fan after Freddie's passing so never got to see a concert but did attend the original WE WILL ROCK YOU theatrical show in London. It was unforgettable. Someday I'll see a Queen show in heaven, no doubt about it.

I love Mika! Here is a great video showing what a versatile and talented musician he is!

Here's a great sounding band that I've added to my friend's list. Check them out.

Books:

I love non-fiction books but rarely finish one. Instead I read from various books, depending on what kind of mood I'm in. In the past I've read several of Robert McCammon's books & loved them. STINGER was one of the best! I used to read Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Anne Rice when I was younger but they don't interest me much anymore.
Most of the non-fiction books I own are biographies, of a metaphysical type or historical.

Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money....George Carlin

Heroes:

My Dad!! My Granny too. She was so good to me. I miss them both so much but I know they are around and are still part of my life. Freddie Mercury, Johnny Cash, Elton John, my husband Paul (he takes good care of me & my kids). The Beatles (they helped through a rough adolescence, Queen have helped me through middle age. Sounds crazy but true) John Edward for saving my sanity.
