I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I wear many hats: physician, cartoonist, author, and parapsychologist to name just a few. I have two books out: "The PK Zone: A Cross Cultural Review of Psychokinesis" and "Suicide: What Really Happens in the afterlife?" If you want to learn more about me, please go to my main website at www.PamelaHeath.com. It has my resume, photos, video, and samples of my work (including cartoons and paintings).

If you are interested in seeing a brief overview of the proof for parapsychology, please check out Dean Radin's presentation for Google at www.youtube.com/watch?v=qw_O9Qiwqew.

My Interests

Parapsychology, art, sculpture, cooking, writing, photography, and computers. I also enjoy doing psychic circles with friends, but to my mind, there's nothing finer than curling up with a mug of hot tea and a good book on a rainy night!

I'd like to meet:

Right now, things in my life are such that I'm not really interested in meeting new people or making new friends.

Music:

Enya, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, Josh Groban, Chris Isaak, and others.

Movies:

I love science fiction and upbeat adventure films - as long as they don't get into horror. Iron Man, Galaxy Quest, Indiana Jones I and III, Pirates of the Carribean, Ghostbusters, Speed, Matrix, and all the Die Hard films. I also like some romantic movies and comedies that don't mistake cruelty towards others as humor.

Television:

Burn Notice and Bones are the only shows I watch at present.

Books:

Westerns, mysteries, romance, adventure, humor, fantasy and science fiction. I love to read! It might be faster to list what I don't like - horror. Favorite authors include Jim Butcher, Janet Evanovich, Elizabeth Peters, Kathy Reichs, Patricia McKillip, Lois McMaster Bujold, Judith Merkle Riley, Dick Francis, and Tony Hillerman.

Heroes:

Those who care.

Tuning in spirits

A number of things piqued my curiousity at the Queen Mary. One of them occurred when I was standing in line, waiting to register for the event, surrounded by ghost hunters. Every few minutes...

Looking at the issue of karma when it comes to dealing with ghosts.

I've recently heard a number of folks talk about the fact that they won't interfere with a ghost -- even if it is hurting one or more others -- because of the issue of karma. I think the rea...

Women over 40

"As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care...

Why are some ghost hunters working in the dark?

(ADDENDUM: There's something I should mention here that I tend to take for granted most people understand. Ghosts don't have eyes. They don't "see" the way we do -- so whether it's ligh...

The question of "demons."

Everyone seems to be bringing up the question of "demons" now days. I'm not the only parapsychologist to notice this. So, I'd like to address the topic here. I would like to make three points.FIRST: I...

Formal testing for psychics

I may surprise you a bit with what I'm going to say here. Psychics often contact me and other parapsychologists asking (or in some cases demanding) to be tested so they can prove their abilities to th...

The issue of proof in ghost investigations

Last night, on the Peace, Luv, and Lip Gloss Hour, I spoke about a something that I think it is critical for every person who is interested in the paranormal to understand. It involves how mind over m...

Paranormal research: Does history matter?

I've heard it said that there has been no good research in the paranormal, so it's up to ghost hunters to provide it. Huh?To say there has been no good research, is to suggest either a lack of awarene...

Ghosts

I've been watching the development of a disturbing trend in ghost hunting. More and more people seem to be viewing it as light entertainment. They troop out with their meters and their cameras and the...
