Josh Bass is a 25 year old singer-songwriter based out of New York City. In the summer of 2008 he released his first album, "Josh Bass" with the single "Hold Me Up." After garnering airplay on stations around the country and sales reaching as far as Paris, France, Josh Bass began making a name for himself on both the local and broad scene. As of the summer of 2009, Josh Bass is preparing for the release of his second album. In addition to his own project, he writes and plays guitar for the blues-rock band Community Gun. Together Community Gun has played to the crowds of the North East, with a self-titled EP that was named one of the top EP’s of 2008. They are currently working on the release of their first full length album. Josh Bass has also written for the folk-singer, classical guitarist Helen Avakian, with two of his songs featured on her album, “I Love the Moon.†Josh Bass is a member of ASCAP.
