About Me

33 years ago I wrote and directed my first play.... an adaptation of HEIDI... rehearsed on the playground with moderately willing 2nd grade classmates. We "performed" what ended up being a mostly improvised production for the first grade.... finally ending the show when the math teacher pulled me over and whispered, "about how much more do you think is left?" I was young enough not to take this as negative criticism and quickly aimed for the curtain call. I was hooked from that point on,(ending up in the Juilliard Drama Division right out of high school) and every year since, with only one or two exceptions, I have been involved in at least one theatrical production... many years I have been involved in some capacity in multiple endeavors.... theater, film, music... as an actress, coach, director, writer... you name it. I'm primarily a film actress now enjoying a moment of "right place/right time" living in Dallas, Texas.I'm also a mom... with two beautiful and (if I do say so) brilliant daughters, both of whom are performers in their own right. Co-founder of thistlemouse productions www.thistlemouse.com... a theatrical production company focusing on productions for children and families.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Film, Theater, Art (Hopper, O'Keefe, Sargent, Picasso, Rembrandt, Degas, Cassatt, Bernini... and learning about artists I don't know yet), Travel, Writing, Photography, Texas History, Tudor England, Italy, Vintage Fiestaware, Books, Cars (especially classic cars... "They can be any color, so long as they are black.")... my children, my family.... why we are who we are... the paths people follow... options not taken... pretty much anything that will expand my horizons.

I think it's just about time to cross over into the world of the ipod so I can load everything onto it.... but I'm not quite there yet...
