Theatre, Movies, Dining Out... I truly miss being more involved in live theatre... I have a passion for directing and have had the honor of directing such shows as Evita, Into The Woods, Sound Of Music, Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Night Music... I have been lucky enough to perform all over the country in well over 100 live theatrical productions... Unfortunately, I have not found a way for my passion to pay the bills. I still keep my hand in where I can, and know that there will come a time when I am free to seek out my passion once again... Until then, I live vicariously through the many talented people I come across in my personal life, and on Myspace...
Good Friends. We are a fun-loving couple, who really enjoy the company of close friends. Dave is an awesome cook. He'll spend hours in the kitchen, creating the perfect meal. A perfect day for us is to relax around the house or lay by the pool with the music playing, soaking up the rays of the sun. We enjoy throwing parties. Our yearly 4th of July party has become infamous.
My tastes are quite diverse. From Jimmy Buffet for lying by the pool, to Light Jazz for quiet evenings at home. I love music with passion. Classical, Jazz, Opera, Broadway, and Cabaret. I will enjoy just about anything except heavy metal and rap... Do you want to hear some powerful music. Click on Anne Kerry Ford's picture and check out the music from her new Kurt Weill CD. WOW, now that is powerful. If you ever get a chance to see her live, do it. You will not be dissappointed. Enjoy.
Most recently I have been going back to the classics. Gone With The Wind, Wizard Of Oz, Casablanca, and the great movie musicals of the 30's and 40's. That was a time of true stars that lit up the silver screen. I haven't been out to see a movie in quite a while. Hairspray was the last. I enjoyed it but it wasn't a huge wow for me. I just watched "Pan's Labrynth". What a cinematic masterpiece. I was just mezmorized by the engrossing nature of that film.
Love, Love, Love...Weeds, Dexter, Six Feet Under, Project Runway, Top Chef, any home improvement show, but my favorite lately has been Californiacation. I never really like David Duchovney, but he shines in this role.. I really enjoy the character development, and the fantastic writing. I am looking forward to a great fall lineup on the box. I am interested in "Viva Laughlin" as portions of it are fillmed at my place of work.
