Pierced has one mission in mind.....to win souls for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Pierced was formed in late 2005 when founding members Clyde Porter(guitar), (guitar)Mike Ash, and Andy Milner(drums/vocals) started jamming at the Tabernacle church in Prestonsburg, KY. The group performed regularly to provide special music for Sunday evening services. Christian Porter (bass) was added to the lineup a few months later. In the summer of 2006, vocalist Natasha Hamilton was added to the lineup to increase the versatility of the group.
Pierced has one of the most versatile repertoires that you'll hear from a band... EVER. The band is often asked to describe their sound to which they reply, "that depends on the song." The group often mixes their set with acoustic praise & worship cover songs people are familiar with. Then they'll unleash the distortion and the heavy hitting and screaming for thosse that love to rock. For those who like a different flavor of music, Pierced also performs songs that use instruments from all around the world such as steel drum, flute, djembe, and more. With Pierced, there is something for everyone. "We will play any type of music that is used to glorify God."-states Milner.
The band performs steadily throughout the KY,WV,OH, TN area. They have shared the stage with other upcoming Christian bands such as Nevertheless, 7th Time Down, Live Fish, Delorean Grey, Walking out Blind, Crossworthy, Kurt Vernon, Tyler Davis, and William King.
Some of our interests include: Rocking out. Natasha-Putting on makeup, finding reflective surfaces, sparkles, and singing in 1 key. Clyde-Guns, trading guitars, and saying "Whoa boys!!". Andy-Drums, customizing cars that won't start in the morning, and beating music into people. LilC-Talking, plotting revenge, and improvising in front of a crowd. Mike-Playing other people's guitars, borrowing cords, and producing loud feedback while blaming Clyde for it.
