Kill a Punk for Rock 'n Roll

About Me

br The Oblivians were a garage rock band from Memphis, Tennesee in the mid-1990s. All three performed on Drums, Guitar, and Vocals, switching during shows. Although they still sometimes perform together (if you're lucky) they have all gone on to pursue other musical endeavors. Jack Oblivian did some work with Impala.Greg went on to form the Reigning Sound, in addition to being an in-demand producer for the likes of Mr. Airplane Man and the Deadly Snakes. Eric Oblivian went on to form Goner Records.Greg and Jack Oblivian also played together in the Compulsive Gamblers, a somewhat more conventional garage rock/ Rhythm and blues band that preceeded The Oblivians in the early 90's.
