AND 10 OCT @DIRTY WATERS CLUB/BOSTON ARMS/N19 5QQARTROCKER GIG REVIEW:::::: with incessant bass drum and snare (courtesy of a tamborine around the heel and stomp on a baking tray),grizzled looking, sounding and - presumably -smelling like a one-man-blooze-show , [D-66] starts off like the white stripes , if jack got bored with carrying meg and decided to replace her with his shoes. with his tom waits growl [D-66] delivers rasping blues good enough to make you question wether it realy is a spent force,before pummeling into frenzied psychobilly. after a while someone joins him onstage to control a primitive sounding drum-machine for a quasi-industrial noiseout, all the more effective for it's juxtaposition with the organic solo act and AT LEAST 50X BETTER THAN THE KILLS.artrocker magazine 09:07 AS HEARD ON ...
