Hello. I was born up a Shepherd's Leg in West London,
and after growing up amid cows and sheep in Suffolk,
moved back to London when i was 18. It was there that I
decided to hurl my poor little brain out of the window
in a whirlwind of warehouse raves and torrid partying.
Like practically everyone else I started djing and had
my own clubnight by 1998 called Stark (with help from
3d!t), which ran for a year until the vast yardie club
owners scared us away with our tails between our legs at
the pinnacle of our success.
Now, nine years down the line I juggle three recordlabels: Hoarse Records (one man bands, garage, punk,rock n roll - www.hoarse.co.uk) , Bernard's Haircut(mad, comic breakcore, electro and sillyness) and ShedRecords (no skool techno) Shed and Bernard are both at www.pleth.co.uk).I still love electronic music but am concentrating muchmore on rocking garage, punk and rock n roll.On lower key moments i'm loving pre-war blues and certain Brazilian stuff, especially stuff fromn the Tropicalia movement...I dj here and there, my residnencies being PLETHORA - an absolute rocker of night that bends and blends genres and encourages djs to play what they couldn't get away with elsewhere. I also play the first friday of every month at Soap or Glue with DJ Prophane. I rarely sleep!
