About Me

RKW are two Mancunians, Myke Razor-B Wilson, one of the Uk's finest drummers and Yvonne-D'Alchemiss-Ellis, a multi talented producer/sound engineer. Look at their work credits and you will understand their history. Simply Red, Swing Out Sister, Cool Down Zone, 52nd Street, George Clinton, Roni Size, The Dust Junkys, The Freestylers, The Beautiful South, Lamb, Texas, Jimi Tenor, as well as their latest production collaborations with Afterlife, and Corinne Bailey Rae.Fast forward to a time when a new and individual musical desire is burning and we get to the birth of RKW. Urban music production from the leftside, folky, rootsy , electronic, acoustic, poetry and song, ultimately free from cliches and artistic restriction. Their music highlights these characteristics and showcases local talent from Manchester, in the form of quirky hip hop and blue eyed soul.No big sell, no big hype, just a little bit of food when you get sick of eating the usual flavours.
