RIGHT FIRST THINGS FIRST PEOPLE BIG THANKYOU FOR COMING BY MY PAGE AND TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAS SUPPORTED ME OVER THE YEARS AND THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO DO SO (ITS ALL GOOD PEOPLE, BLESS UP TO THE HATERS ITS COOL YOU HELP ME TO DO BETTER ITS NEVER [email protected] started Dj-ing shortly after leaving school in 1998, he began playing in small local bars which helped him gain experience and for him to get a feel for the type of music he wanted to play, he began playing a variety of chart, R&B, reggae and what was then the emerging sound of UKG.It was the he felt 2 UKG and R&B was the direction for him as he has grown up listening to similar music through out his life. It was this turning point he volunteered for All fm 96.9 (then part of RADIO REGEN) in 2000 as part of a two-week test transmission.During which he met with another DJ (magic) that he knew from school, as time progressed the radio station obtained the power to have a longer broadcasting licence, from this the Urban lick was born with JC & Magic.They then met with two London MC’s Emkay & Styla in 2002, who helped in the shows development and allowed the show to become one of Manchester’s busiest radio shows with lots talent from Manchester and surrounding areas passing through to bless the mic, dj sets on air or spit lyrics over the phone live to Manchester and surrounding towns, shortly following the departure of these MC’s Magic took too the mic and began making waves by this point the radio station has seen many high profile names in the UK urban music scene like Steve sutherland, Heartless crew, Ed case, Artful dodger, Ms dynamite...... too many to mention.Popularity grew for JC, he met G-soundz and Mystery of Sweet Irony where the show took a turn for both R&B and UKG, JC was doing more than house club and bar parties at this point, he was doing many student R&B and UKG nights, which grew to him having residencies in some of Manchester’s most well known venues such as Hidden (ohm) and Bolton’s J2 where he played along side more well known Dj’s at Festivals like Dpercussion where 44,000 people reportedly attended also djs from Galaxy fm, KISS fm, 1xtra plus many more………After a Short break JC is back to give the people of what they need ……….
