About Me

In 2001 while on a top secret mission to the planet Jupiter, I was betrayed by my ship's on board computer, the HAL 9000 ("HAL"). HAL, who had almost complete control of the ship's functions, systematically terminated my crewmates and I narrowly escaped death following HAL's attempt to lock me out of the ship. After several traumatic events I'd prefer not to discuss, I managed to disable HAL. Shortly thereafter, while within range of Jupiter, I entered an interdimensional portal through which I traveled "beyond the infinite." I emerged into a luxurious Victorian interstellar apartment, where I experienced accelerated aging, wore a stylish robe, and dined in quiet solitude. As I lay in bed dying I witnessed myself in the womb. I was then reborn and I now exist beyond the infinite. My name is Dave Bowman.
