"Der Gute Rat"
Heavy Noise Metal
Fidel Bastro Nr. 27
Vertrieb: EFA / EFA CD 06263-2
It just is not enough that in the last 14 years STAU has made a name for itself as the most outstanding Noise-Band in Hamburg. But, now, they have most effectively widen their musical spectrum. Even though the category "Heavy Noise Metal" may exaggerate the metal aspect, it's heading in the right direction. The somewhat reserved metal influences in addition to the brutal inertia, that is STAU, has given "Der Gute Rat" CD a whole new sound. Reason for some of the changes are due to the fact that they had a little more time for clowning around in the studio, in comparison to their earlier works. This is a sound you just got to hear to believe. They just don't make bands like this now-a-days.Career:Form by a few guy's in early ..94, STAU, was a project in constant change, until June, that same year, they had the loudest, hardest, brutalest, and did I say loudest? Line-up. This steadiness has made STAU, probably , the hardest and loudest (said it again) German band in the sector of "Noise-Rock"! Live, these guys are so unbearably brutal that the unprepared listener or audience member might just receive the shock of their lives. Premier recorded documentations of their abilities were in the form of the single "Haarmann " with "100dm/10pf" on the flip side. Made public by the artists themselves in ..95. Followed by publications appearing on the sampler from the HamburgUnderground philosopher "Teer Gleene Muck" with their title "Fegefeuer", after that Fidel Bastro took them caringly under their big beautiful wings.
The publications followed:
"V3" LP (Fidel Bastro/EFA, 1996)
"Macht Mit" CD (Fidel Bastro/EFA, 1998)
"Der Gute Rat" CD (Fidel Bastro/EFA, 2002)
