My MySpace friends have been the catalyst for so much of my recent success. Your belief in my talent and your continued support means so much. While I was working the Red Cross RespectED gigs and the UK you were keeping' the love up on my page. I'm so inspired. Brea is a multi-talented singer/songwriter and musician. She is as refreshing as a northern spring wind…a young pop-country artist whose body of work reflects her personal search for meaning. Try to mesh country, pop and a little rock, and you'll have an inkling of this young lady's style. As her music has matured Brea has been able to focus on the things that are most important to her. Brea and her keyboardist Braiden Turner, both Ottawa teens, joined RespectED (a national Canadian Red Cross program) to create the Black and Purple Campaign to Prevent Bullying. The campaign is named after a song on Breanne's up and coming CD ...No Regrets. Brea is working with WaterCan to help improve the lives of people in developing countries by increasing their access to safe drinking water, basic sanitation, and hygiene education."Through my songs I want to explore the many feelings I experienced growing up. The feelings of being misunderstood and undervalued....the feeling of falling in love for the first time ...it all happens for a reason ...and it took my voice to give me the guts to express myself."
Her extraordinary vocals, her passion and her unique writing style put her in a class all her own. In her short career she has gained a loyal following of fans that identify with the things that have become important to her. Busloads of her fans packed the auditorium for her video concert scene, and cheered and sang along to her songs.As Brea says, ‘My dream is not about the fame and fortune, I think it’s more about doing the thing that I love most in the world …ever since I was a little girl, I was singing…and if I want to sing for the rest of my life, why not make it a career, right? …so that I can do the thing that I love, form my whole entire life…and learn to be good at it everyday” Brea has dedicated much of her childhood to music and wouldn't change a thing. She has accomplished more than some people only dream of and if you ask her she’ll tell you … it’s been worth every second…I have No Regrets."
