Live Ambient Electronica,finest post-rock moments.

About Me

Cloudcub's soundscape bridges the space between electronica and post-rock incorporating acoustic instruments and (sometimes) childlike vocals/lyrics. By turns melancholic and sweet, this is music to daydream to!!!!Based loosely around Central-North, London UK, they are a live electronica act that doesn't need to perform (!!) they still looking for places suitable to the style of the music gig! Places like galleries, and seating venues work best, or like spitz which sadly now is closed! The roots of Cloudcub can be traced back in the autumn of 2004, with the instrumental compositions of Filtig and Thom. It all came to place the summer of 2005 when Dudu replied to an ad for bassist/multi instrumentalist. Since July, the 3 of them rehearsed and tried to give form and shape to those songs as a "live" organism. As a band, firslty with the addition of Maria P on vox, they obviously want to play live !! Endless auditions with violinists, all failed miserably, but in the end, our first "preview" gig in front of 25 difficult to please people, inevitably took place with the 4 of us and no violin...On May 9th 2006 they did their first proper gig, in Colourbar in Camden. The music and the visuals were all received with great pleasure from the audience! Things are taking their way, new songs are forming and plans for gigs are thriving! They just finished their debut album and looking to release it as soon as possible!Fiver
