Vicky Michopoulou is a new playwright* from Athens, Greece. She works also as an advisor/administrator specializing in negotiating and transferring of Intellectual, Related and Commercial Rights for any type of exploitation (Music industry, Cinema, Theatre, Publishing, Advertisement,TV-Radio, etc.). At the same time and under the prospect of the creation of a global Copyright system she is advising on every individual country’s relative status while keeping a close look on the ever changing nature of the legal and commercial manipulation of music as far as the Internet is concerned.
From the legendary Greek bands Lefki Simphonia and Diafana Krina to the very promising miss Olga Kouklaki, Vicky has maintained an affinity with artists and arts professionals, distancing herself from traditional, sterilized professional policies.
Other professional activities: drafting your own individual agreement, file preparation concerning European grants (culture, media etc)& the Greek Film Center, labels etc.
* Recently, Vicky has completed her first play. Now, she is on the lookout for an agent (yes, an agent in Athens, this is no joke!).
In 2007 she took part in the official reading for the new playwrights “Wardrobeâ€, organized by the Hellenic Center of International Theatre Institute and directed by mr. Konstantinos Arvanitakis.
During 2008 she has been participating in a collective writing project which performed last September at “Epi Kolono†theatre. She worked also as an assistant theatre director on the production of the black comedy "Slip and Tanga 2" (P.V.PRO team).
