William Elijah, known to many as BIG WILL, was born and raised in Detroit, MI and became a professional musician at the early age of 15 and has now been performing for over three decades. He has been mentored by many revered Detroit musicians and is now one of Motown's most sought after premier entertainers with an on stage presence and charisma unparalled.
Big Will along with THE SUN MESSENGERS, "the popular local band he credits with giving him 22 years of musical training" have touched every form of music from Jazz standards to the blazing Funk sounds of the 70's and beyond.
This coalition also sparked Will's creative energy as an independent singer, songwriter, and producer taking his years of experience to a NEW level with what he calls "360 Degrees Music".
Will's resume takes him from working all the major venues and casinos in Detroit, to the Palace of Auburn Hills as the lead singer for the Detroit Pistons band for 12 seasons.

Credits also include television and radio shows such as Fox 2 Morning Show, The Mitch Albom Show, and The Temptations Tribute "Get Ready" on WDIV where he, along with the Sun Messengers, re-recorded the classic "Poppa Was A Rolling Stone" in the historic landmark Motown Studio A on West Grand Blvd. Will "turns up the heat" with a rap he wrote for that piece. "It was a major honor to be one of the last musicians to record there... says Will."
