Beyond Words is a 13 part television variety series whos goal is to
lift the spirit of Aboriginal ( NDN ) people by delving into our language,
identity and culture by celebrating the diversity of contemporary
Aboriginal performers and their connections to traditional art forms.
Our focus this season will be on collaborations. We will explore
collaborations between Aboriginal musicians with their heroes, mentors,
co-musicians, other indigenous people, youth with Elders and reunions.We
want to focus on how language and culture affect and inspire artistic
expression. We were nominated yet again this year for our 2006 season, and guess what, ....WE WON our first LEO award!!!
