.David L. Watts is the CEO of a multi-media production company called The FuTurX, LLC and co-CEO of a classic African-American DVD company called Tempest Entertainment. Mr. Watts is also a professional writer. On October 5th, 2001 Walt Disney released Max Keeble's Big Move which was based on Watts's script, My Greatest Mistake, about Mr. Watts’s suburban high school experiences. Mr. Watts's current interest is in developing diverse stories that are commercially entertaining yet culturally sensitive such as Soul On Ice, the true story about the Detroit Rockies, an all-black teenage hockey team that won the 1995 US-Canadian Championship. The FuTurX owns the theatrical rights to Soul On Ice and Watts is the film's producer.
The FuTurX was also the producer's rep for David Velo Stewart's independent digital film called Hip-Hop 4 Life which screened at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival and the 2002 Hollywood Black Film Festival. Mr. Watts is also the executive producer of Berlin Beatbox Championship, Hiphopbattle.com: Detroit vs. New York, 5X4 City vs City MC Battle. Mr. Watts is the producer of a HD music DVD called Hip-Hop Life and the documentaries The Good, The Bad and The Bling and German Hip-Hop.
Mr. Watts is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television. While at USC, Watts was the founder and president of the USC African-American Film Association (AAFA). Mr. Watts created and implemented the first eight week film retrospective dedicated to Sidney Poitier covering his entire career as an actor/director/producer. The Poitier Retrospective was just a few of the great multi-racial cinematic programs Mr. Watts had the privilege and support to put on while at USC. Watts is also a journalist for Hiphopbattle.com and has an Industry nickname of "Money Train".

My Interests

My interests are related around Hollywood, technology, global Hip-Hop, politics and sports. I am a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan no matter if we win games, lose or even if Tony Romo throws an interception in the last fifteen seconds of a playoff game because he is too distracted by thinking about hanging out with Jessica Simpson in Mexico.I also like to travel and meet new folks around the globe.CHECK OUT MY LINKS:
