Got tickets? To What? To the gun show!!!

About Me

In 1984, I started playing in bands and taking my music somewhat more seriously. I say "somewhat" because I was also very athletic and was looking to play college football and minor league baseball. When I blew my knee out in 86' I lost all my chances at sports so I did the band thing. I always enjoyed playing guitar and singing and for a long time did many shows throughout the Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey areas. I played big shows (10,000) and little shows (like 30). We played prisons and high schools, colleges and churches, outdoor ampitheaters and nightclubs. I have played slow and sweet acoustic stuff and hard loud heavy metal stuff. I have always been into music and recording and have been blessed to be a part of many projects. I did two albums with a band called "CROSSWORK". I got to do three albums under the title "FINDING HOME". And several years ago I did my own solo project under my own name. I don't play out as much anymore because I am finishing my degree and working and being a Daddy! Occasionally I will take a gig somewhere but not often. I always dream of giving music another "shot" but I am getting old! I will always write though and we will see, maybe one rainy Saturday someone who has some pull will discover a song of mine! Thanks for listening...Dan

............................................................ ............................................................ .......My all time favorite guitar player period! Phil Keaggy! There are many great players - guys like Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Eddie Van Halen, Nuno Bettencourt, Mark Hafer (to name my favorite electric players) but also Monte Montgomery, Andy Mckee, Randy Stonehill, Don Ross, James Taylor (some of my favorite Accoustic players). Phil is at the top for me. I think it is because of his humble and unselfish nature! He just does it! He knows his talent is from God and so he humbily gives it back and we get to benifit from it! Rock on Phil!My favorite singer. Not just because she sings with incredible passion but she is also adorable! I have a major crush on Amy! Maybe she will let me sing with her someday and I will sweep her off her feet. I think she just got married though! Lame!"Broken" This is one of my favorite songs and videos... Amy is awesome in this song. She is so flippin cute with her black wings and flip-flops - not many chicks can pull that off.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: It is just Dan! He plays Guitars, bass, drums, piano, and does the singing. Other people He has played with include - Walt Lawton and Scott Augustin (of Get Serious) Steve Lorch (of Fields of Vision) Billy Futrell (of Billy Futrell and the Sons of Thunder) Phil and Rob Wood (of Dorians Cry and other bands) Lonny Charpin (of Petra and Band called Tate) Muff Johnson (of Minor Yours) Mike Lukens (of Crosswork) Dave Obrien (of Disciple) Phil Zeo and Chuck Gilbert (Reflection) Ryan Baggerly (Aisle 3) Rick Franklin, Charlie Robinson, Bryan White, Jim Wilson, Jason Randles, Hubert Oliver, Cynthia Crotts and Randy Stonehill (OK I didn't really play with him, but I did have spaggetti once with him and that's the truth!)........" He took upon himself every sorrow and every burden that we have and made them His own. He was punished and beaten for the crimes that we ourselves commited. He was spit on and mocked.... tortured and murdered! He paid the price for our lawless and immature, rebelious and perverse actions. By His wounds we could be free from the things we let ourselves be bound to. While we partied and threw His love back into His face, He died a criminal in our place because He loved us with a passion we will never understand. He looked out at those who were full of hatred and greed and forgave them even while He hung there on a cross. A cross made from wood He made... posted on a hill that He formed! Heros come in many shapes and sizes but for me there is really only one! Because of Him, I know the truth! Because I know He still lives, I have hope for the future! It isn't what you know it's who you know! The keys to Paradise are held in a nail scarred hand!" (Isaiah 53:4-6, Romans 5:8 my version and notes)
