I didn’t have a clue.

And see similarities in you.The life I’ve lived is reckless,
And now I wonder why.
Where’s my homeboys now ?
I thought it was ride or die.When I look back on my life,
So much wasted past.
No one really knew me,
My loved ones were the last.My secrets are dark and deep,
Causing my blood to run cold.
My past is evil and black,
And should never be told.I only have a few minutes to live,
So listen to what I say.
Think about your loved ones,
Living in fear each and every day.If you listen closely ,
You can hear their tortured cries.
And envision the pain filled tears,
Falling from their eyes.Think of all you’ve missed,
And how you’ve let them down.
Leaving them searching for your love,
That never could be found.The help you refused to give,
As you turned your back on them.
You left them out to dry,
But stayed loyal to your friends.You got high on drugs,
And committed some heinous crime.
Thinking of lies to fabricate,
In your wasted time.Chasing your bag of choice,
You knowingly sold your soul.
Living without a conscience,
Most certainly took it’s toll.Where are your friends now,
When your death is drawing near?
They watched you get shot down,
Then ran out through the rear.Now the path that I have chosen,
Has left me no more choice,
My body starts to tremble,
And my fears are filled in voice.Forgetting about my life,
And all that lies ahead.
My body feels so cold,
Knowing soon that I’ll be dead.The voices of my family,
Are ringing in my ears.
All the pain I’ve caused them,
Through-out the many years.As my limbs go numb,
I resist the need to fight.
I accept the punishment for my sins,
Of not doing what was right.
