I'm not afraid to say what others are thinking, and I 'm ready to live and die for what I believe

About Me

Ajani Sekou is a Richmond, Virginia native. Born into a generation when the Black Panthers dominated the headlines and the Afro was a sign of rebellion. Ajani began developing his artistic eye before he was able to form complete sentences.A born entertainer, Ajani began performing in plays and recitals at the age of 5. Always involved in something, his creative range seemed endless. Due to early pitfalls, Ajani had to put his artistic endeavors on hold until later in his adult life.In 2000 he left Virginia and moved his family to Philadelphia and enrolled into the Art Institute of Philadelphia. At the art institute, Ajani majored in Multi-Media and Web Design. Through the traditional art tract that was taught there, Ajani’s grasp of color and form propelled him to the head of his class.Although various clients sought out his digital works, his passion for art grew beyond his keyboard and monitor. Using a wide rage of mediums and tools, Ajani brings to life in the vivid colors and textures of his visual world. In 2005 Mr. Sekou increased his repitoire of endevours by attending LB Beauty Academy in Richmond, Va and is now a licensed Natural Hair care Specialist. Just recently he opened Twisted Perfection, his first salon. The visual art pieces and natural hair styles are well complemented by his musical compositions and live performance. Performing before thousands over the past 4 years across the country, Ajani has gained a reputation as an inspiring and energetic entertainer. Currently Ajani Sekou is recording and performing live in the D.C. area. music layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments
