My hometown is Richmond, VA. My passion is music. I have a gift to write and sing, among other things. I am blessed, so, I must use the talents that I have been given. I recognized this gift of song while singing in church and school choirs as an adolescent. I began writing poetry in high school as a way to express my thoughts. While in college, I obtained four years of classical and modern vocal training, knowledge of music theory,aural skills, music engineering and sound production. I am currently pursuing a music career as a solo artist.
My style has not yet been defined and I love that. There are no genre restrictions, I simply recognize how a particular progression or song makes me feel or think and I write to it. My songs are truly episodes taken from my mind, some imagined and some real life. Each song has its own unique sound and message. My music is a reflection of my life, an expression of my thoughts, and manifestation of my purpose. Some might say my music is heuristic, because when you hear my music you are listening to formulated experimentation. Knowing that frequencies traveling through space and time have the ability to heal or kill, I choose life and health. So, if I was asked to describe my music, I would say, there are signs everywhere so stop, look, & listen, my music describes its self. My musical intentions are to solve problems and aid in the discovery of self and regeneration.
