I am happily married to the most awesome man in this world! We have 2 great kids that any parent would be proud to have. Rob is a Marine and college student and Taylor is a self-described "girly-girl". I'm opinionated and often give out, for free of course, unsolicited advice to all my family and friends. But the advice is always filled with love and honesty. Besides, I was a psych major in college so I have to put some of that knowledge to use, right?There are a few things I am very passionate about. My love for God being first, followed by my love for my family and friends. I love my country and am very proud to be a citizen of the United States of America. I get defensive over immigration and family values. I believe education is the single most important thing we can do to become better people. As a former liberal and understanding the true mind of a Democrat, I changed my beliefs of the political spectrum several years ago to more closely match my values and am now a proud Republican.Although I can speak loud and clear on political and religion topics, deep down, like my daughter, I am a girly-girl. I love shopping, drinking coffee with creme brulee, tanning, being in love, getting manicures and pedicures, crying over sad movies I've seen a dozen times, being by myself, being in a crowded room, listening to nature, listening to '80's music and rocking out, memories of good times, trying to remember the good times. I love traveling, taking long naps in the middle of the day, getting my hair done at Envy by my best girlfriend, kissing in the rain. I love being a wife, a mom, a daughter, a friend. I love life!

Heroes:

First and foremost, Jesus Christ. My mom is also my hero. She is without a doubt, a woman of strength, love, and perseverance. She has become my best friend in adulthood and she's loved me through all my mistakes unconditionally. My husband is my hero, too. He saved me from myself and allows me to be the woman God created me to be. He loves me in all my beauty and ugliness, both inside and out, and treats me like a queen.
