About Me

About me, I LOVE GOD and without HIM, I would be nothing!!! I have been fortunate enough to travel the world doing what it is I love most. MUSIC! What more could one ask for out of life? Well let's see, it all started as a kid when I recieved my first "real" drum set at the age of one for Christmas. Middle child of three, and one half brother. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the age ten relocated to California. Major adjustments! With the help and encouragement of my cousin Larry Dorsey, I auditioned and was excepted into The Los Angeles County High School for the Performing Arts where I played mostly Jazz bigband, Gospel, Rock and Orchestra. From there I recieved a full scholarship from the DOLO COKER FOUNDATION and I attended California Atrs Institute where I majored in Music. Shortly after that began touring with such artist as, MONTEL JORDAN, EN VOGUE, DEBORA COX, JON B., KELLY PRICE, RHIAN BENSON, MISSY ELLIOTT, RAASHAN PATTERSON, LALAH HATHAWAY, The SOUL SEEKERS, RAPHAEL SAADIK, DMX, MASE, JOE, MARIO, RUBEN STUDDARD, PATTI LA BELLE, KELIS, TAMIA, IDEAL, MARY MARY, KIM BURRELL, and others. I have produced along with Rapture Stewart (KEY BEATS INC.) for Artist such as, 702 (Where my girls at?) Missy, AALIYAH R.I.P. (Rock da Boat), DESTINY'S CHILD (Independant Woman prt 2), DAVE HOLLISTER, CHANTE MOORE, TANK, PLAYA. Recently, along with Daryl Anthony of AZ YET produced the new 07 theme song for the TYRA BANKS show. However, I dont chase BIG names. I'll work with anyone who has the God given talent. I also focus on not getting STUCK doing the same old things over & again. I am currently writing & producing my own Broadway musical (TIMELESS) to simply show, or give back to my earlier roots in the Arts!! This will be MY LEGACY. I LOVE WHAT I DO, and dont take it for granted either. I dont think Im "BIG TIME" yet, whatever that means, but Im BLESSED & HIGHLY FAVORED of the LORD! I play, and produce like it's my last time. I really hope you enjoy it. My inspiration comes from my daughter ERIN, and my Dad "the best drummer I know" hands down! I also want to thank Mom for being the strong woman she is.
