MTD IS THE BEST .. I LOVE THESE BASSES..MTD 4 LYFE

About Me

What started out as a fun pastime at his father’s church in Flint , Michigan , soon turned into a growing career and a definite musical mission! Robert, also known as "Bubby", began playing bass at the age of 14, and soon became known around his home town as a musical prodigy. It was at the NAMM Show in 2003 that he sparked the attention of gospel bass legend Andrew Gouche’, who introduced him to Mike Tobias of the famed Michael Tobias Designs (MTD) bass company. Although Robert had yet to build his performance/recording resume, after hearing him play and witnessing the crowd of hundreds that gathered at his display booth in awe of Robert’s talents, Mike Tobias offered him an artist endorsement, saying that he would be elated to be the one to craft Robert’s custom basses. Since then, Robert has played bass for Snoop Dogg‘s upcoming record, Ego Trippin’, along with the upcoming records for Hip Hop artists Warren G, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, The Dogg Pound, Soopafly, Westurn Union, The Warzone, and many more. He currently serves as a supporting musician playing bass for and touring with West Coast Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg, The Dogg Pound, Westurn Union, and The Warzone. He is currently in the studio recording his debut solo CD and also a collaborative effort with his jazz/fusion band “Freeway 3000.”I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
