Can a great band start from a simple co-write session? JORDAN believe's it can!In the fall of 2003, Niclas met with Martin and Nick in their studio in Stockholm to write songs together. From the first moment they started writing they all knew that there was something special happening, the chemistry was perfect and dreams immediately started to take form about starting a band together.
Niclas, Martin and Nick kept writing together for a couple of years but finally they reached the point where they all agreed they had to do something. "We can't resist what these songs make us feel and it would simply be wrong to not run with this".
Dispite the fact that Niclas lives in Ornskoldsvik, almost 400 miles north of Stockholm, where the three guys met for the first time at "The Songwriters Academy", they decided to finally run with the dream and form a band. After lots of thinking and trying out different ideas, they finally decided "JORDAN" would be the perfect name for the band.
So - now there was just the question of a drummer...
At christmas time, 2005, Niclas ran into a friend, Magnus, who was in Ornskoldsvik for christmas. So Niclas told Magnus about the band and asked him if he knew a great drummer in Stockholm. "We'll actually, I'm moving to Stockholm in a few weeks and I've been thinking about finding a band to play with". Niclas was for obvious reasons very excited and after hearing the songs, Magnus felt that this was perfect for him!
JORDAN was now becoming reality and as they started rehearsing it felt like the feeling that they had from the beginning just grew even stronger. It didn't take long until they had booked a first gig and a profile was created at www.MySpace.com. The responses from people was tremendously encouraging! Everyone seemed to love the music, especially in the US! Radiostations started requesting to play JORDAN's music, magazines started writing amazing reviews and soon enough...here we are!!!
Now what kind of history the future makes, we are extremely excited to find out!!!
So...LET'S ROCK THIS PLACE!!!!

Niclas Lundin: Vocals

Niclas has a complete love for singing and has done so all his life. Some say his voice travels straight to the heart...

Martin Fredriksson: Bass

Martin is the definition of solid. When he puts on the bass, he becomes Rock!

Nick Ellerstad: Guitars

Nick can play the pants off of most guitarists, but he makes love with his guitar rather than flash his abilities with it:)

Magnus Sjolander: Drums

Magnus played drums in his mothers womb...he must have! He has toured and recorded with...well, way too many to mention!

Influences: Life...and all the music we grew up with...
Sounds Like: Well...a lot of people seem to think we sound like we'll make it big...we'll just do our best and hope they're right:)

Plus...why even care, I mean, we might sound like many others...we might sound like nothing else...and it's probably different dependin on who you ask. What matters to us is that our music travels into your heart and soul!
