Vix Makeup

My main occupation is being a makeup artist and hair stylist as well as a stylist, doing all kinds of jobs for photo, film, TV etc. If you are swedish then most likely you have seen my work many times since it includes recordcovers, musicvideos, commersials and covers for well known magazines in Sweden such as Damernas, Sportguiden, Solo, Kupé, VeckoRevyn, Frida, etc.
Seeing Michael Jacksons “Thriller” when first shown on TV in Sweden back in 1983, when I was only a little girl, was my first step to becoming a makeup artist. Fascinated by the spooky masks I several years later graduated from International Makeup Center in Stockholm, 1995. But during the time I had found a big interest in making people beautiful and also becoming aware of that I was very talented in that area. In 1997 I was discovered as a makeup artist by a well known model agency and proudly found myself working among the elite. Since then I have lived and worked as a makeup artist in Sweden as well as in London and Florens. My dream of working with masks and special effects is still there, but comfortable as I am with beauty and fashion makeup, I will only keep it on the side every now and then for now.
Living by the theory that one only regrets what one didn’t do - I had a break in my makeup career between 2000-2007 to catch up on another dream I had of being a scientist in biomedicine.
