About Me

In early 2005, Sydney based university students James Tran, Nick Cuevas, Will Baker got together with friend James Salamo to form TwentyOneSunday. This fourpiece initially covered music from the likes of Coldplay, Maroon 5 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
With something seemingly missing, a fifth member was introduced into the lineup. Russell Gan added extra depth and intensity to their sound with his fastkeyboard licks and fulfilling strings and organ. The new look TwentyOneSunday began to write material that was indicative of the varying musical influencesof each member of the band. With influences ranging from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Muse, to Jeff Buckley and Frank Sinatra they began to form a uniquesound. Difficult to classify in one style, TwentyOneSunday are a fusion of melodic rock/pop/jazz/indy.
Since the end of 2005, TwentyOneSunday have been bringing their sounds to Sydney's live music scene. Only early days, but up and coming TwentyOneSunday arefast bringing their music to the world with their and unique yet addictive style.
