Danny y Pablo se conocieron en 1959, unidos por su desenfrenada pasión por la serie B y desde entonces no han dejado de tocar juntos. Primero estaban en la banda de Frat "The Fabulous Ottomans". Fue a finales de 1963 cuando deciden montar un grupo instrumental. Para ello contarán con Germán (Tutti), un surfista que se encuentran un dÃa en una playa aporreando un cubo de basura a modo de baterÃa mientras intenta cantar "surfin' bird". Es en ese momento cuando se dan cuenta de que ese es su hombre. En 1964, al alba de la "british invasion", graban su primer disco, un EP de 5 canciones instrumentales (en el que ya emplean el famoso pedal de "fuzz"). Consiguen sobrevivir el tsunami británico que arrasó a todos los grupos de surf grabando bandas sonoras para pelÃculas de bajo presupuesto, principalmente biker movies. El resto de su historia es todavÃa incierto....
Danny and Pablo met in 1959 and became friends thanks to their crazy passion for B-Movies. At first they play in the frat band "The Fabulous Ottomans". At the end of 1963 they decide to form an instrumental band but they needed a drummer. Once they met a surfer that was hitting a trashcan on a beach, singing "surfin' bird". It was then when they decided that that was the man they needed. In 1964, at the dawn of the "british invasion", they record their first record, an EP with 5 instrumental songs (where they already use the famous "fuzz" pedal). They could survive the british tsunami that wiped out all the other surf bands by recording soundtracks for low budget movies, mainly biker flicks. The rest of the story is yet to be discovered...
