married 44 year old mother and proud grandma

About Me

I guess married 44 year old mother and grandma says a lot, but there's more... I married a great guy 30 years ago when I was 14 and he was 19. We had our first boy right away. I knew he was a handful, but I thought it was just hard for me because I was so young. It wasn't until he was almost 2 that he was diagnosed as being mentally retarded and he had attention deficit hyper activity disorder. When he was 6 our second son was born. He is also MR with ADHD and Autistic. Needless to say, I have had my hands full, but then when my second child was 17 months old, I found out I was pregnant again. I was devastated. I had had a rough pregnancy the second time and the third one was also hard on me. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter on Christmas Eve and had my tubes tied. No More Kids For ME!!! I love them all. No If's ands or but's about it. I'm just tired! Because of the cost of daycare for people with special needs, and because I have only got my GED, and I have fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease, it would cost me more than I could bring home if I worked outside the home. Then because of my health, I don't know how long I'd last anyway. Sometimes I feel so guilty because my husband has to carry the full load of the income. I started writing poetry to relieve some stress. Then I started writing lyrics. I really enjoy it. I have had 4 of them put to music and demoed, and one is cut by Kristina Marie Craig. As you can imagine I have had a lot to write songs about. I only pray that my writing someday helps pay the bills. You can check out some of my songs here...http://www.showcaseyourmusic.com/janiebelle. God bless, Janie href=http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LnRoZURhaWx5Qml ibGVWZXJzZS5vcmc=

My Interests

song writing, poetryDADDY ALWAYS MADE US SMILE AUTHOR (Jane Carr) ©2006 Verse 1 Born thirty miles from Nashville, But my family didn’t rest In one place too long. Kept movin’ on. Our next stop was Kansas. Then on to California, where we stayed for quite a while. And God knows the times were hard, but daddy always made us smile. When we traveled down the road, I don’t know how my folks stayed sane, Five kids playin’ and yellin’, but most of all we sang.chorus “If the devil doesn’t like it he can sit on a tack.” And Sis yelled, “Kenny took my book, and he won’t give it back.” And I begged, “Momma, I’m so hungry. When are we gonna’ eat?” Mom pleaded, “Daddy, Please pull over! Spot threw up on the back seat!Verse2 Dad kept that station wagon rollin’, all the way thru seven states. We ended up in Misery, when we left the Golden Gate. Seven people, a gold fish, a dog, and parakeet, Headed to our destination, but Missouri was no treat. That was the last trip that I took with them, ‘fore I became a wife. And daddy worked real hard to see we had a happy life. …and…Chorus “If the devil doesn’t like it he can sit on a tack.” Sis yelled, “Kenny took my book, and he won’t give it back.” And I said, “Momma, I’m so hungry. When are we gonna’ eat?” Mom pleaded, “Daddy, Please pull over. Spot threw up on the back seat!Verse3 In Missouri Dad cut wood all summer long to keep us worm. He knew that in the winter time, there would be bad storms. I remember how hard Daddy worked, fixin’ up that run down shack. Missed our life in California, but there was no turnin’ back. You’d think, after all the work dad did, he’d want to run and hide. But he always found the time to take us for a Sunday ride.chorus And , “If the devil doesn’t like it he can sit on a tack.” And Sis yelled, “Kenny took my book, and he won’t give it back.” And I said, “Momma, I’m so hungry. When are we gonna’ eat?” Mom said, “Daddy, please pull over. Spot threw up on the back seat! Who's gonna put some music to this one for me??HREF="http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/young_chris4/artist. jhtml.."
