About Me

Hailing from a small town in central Minnesota, Eric started his career by singing in local cover bands at a young age. Opening for major acts and traveling throughout the Upper Midwest, Eric quickly gained a large regional following. After nearly ten years of playing the fairs, festivals, dancehalls and rodeos in the Midwest, Eric felt that it was time for a change, and decided to move across the country to continue his career in Austin, Texas. Over the next two years, Eric broke into the Texas music scene playing gigs all across the Lone Star state, releasing an independent album, and making his way onto Texas radio. During his time in Austin, he traveled throughout Texas on three different radio tours, doing interviews and performing acoustic sets in order to promote his singles as well as album sales. This led to an opportunity for Eric to front the house band at Cowboy’s Dancehall in Dallas, one of the largest dancehalls in the nation. Entertaining over 5,000 people each week certainly added to Eric’s rapidly growing fan base. However, Eric knew that if he was going to make waves in country music, he would have to do his swimming in Nashville. So in 2007, Eric relocated to Nashville, where he currently spends his time focusing on his career.
Although Eric’s rich, country voice and rugged good looks quickly grab the attention of fans, it is his charismatic personality that keeps them coming back. With his quick wit and captivating character, Eric constantly draws in admirers. Quick with a joke, but quicker with a smile, Eric is the consummate optimist. That positive attitude and keen sense of humor translate well to Eric’s live performances. Believing that every show should be a memorable experience for everyone involved, Eric tries to add just a little extra for good measure.
Eric’s hard work seems to be paying off. One of his latest singles, “Where She Used To Be”, a duet with fellow Texas artist Jason Allen, has gained attention all across Texas. Robert K. Oermann of Music Row Magazine gave the single a rave review, "A Texas two-step with Neznik's lead tenor harmonized by Allen in the fashion of those golden Ray Price honky-tonkers like ‘Crazy Arms’ or ‘Heartaches By The Number.’ This, my friends, is country music.”
Country music is in desperate need of an artist such as Eric Neznik; someone who will bring real country tunes back to Nashville with more energy and vitality than ever before. With incredible talent, magnetic charm, great looks, and a fresh sound, Eric has the total package and is ready to take on Music City!

Sounds Like: ...what you might hear if you happened to be inside a washing machine in mid-cycle while a gunfight was going on just outside the machine. Of course, in this example, one should also not forget the additional noise created by the bell on the bicycle of the guy in the striped shirt who is trying to sell ice cream treats to the exhausted gunfighters. After all...it's hot out there.
