About Me

Welcome everybody to Sound Factory Promotions My Space page. We put on gigs here at The Providence (130 Western Road, Hove) every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.Every week there's something different going on. We've had all sorts of performers @ the Providence, from Rockabilly to Cabaret and everything else in between so if you like keeping up to date with the hottest new talent in Brighton get down to The Prov and check out some of the amazingly HOT TALENT on offer. Keep your eye on our profile pic for details of upcoming gigs.There are always loads of drinks promotions up for grabs by using the unique SURVIVAL CARD (Available from the bar for just Â£1) you can get up to 25% of drinks ALL DAY EVERY DAY - yes, another BARGAIN!If you're interested in playing a gig here just send a message with your details through My Space or send a DEMO to us and we promise (hand on heart) to listen, but please be patient, it can take a while. Band Members: We are glad to be joined by Bernice Macdonald who, in August will be starting a new weekly night entitled 'Soundfactory Stripped'. This night is aimed at promoting the best in Acoustic, Folk, Blues and the like. If you're interested in being considered for one of these gigs, please contact Bernice via email - [email protected].
Tom New is the venue promoter and resident sound engineer for all musical events at the Providence (thurs/fri/sat). Ed summers and Darren Mcstay compere the nights, keep the bands happy and the nights running to schedule. Barney Savage of "Lo-Res Designs" designs all of our posters! Sally Adams is the Venue Manager and she, ably assisted by her polite and proffesional staff make sure that no-one goes thirsty whilst they are rocking!

Influences: We like to put on the best in live music entertainment from Brighton and beyond. If you think your band has what it takes, then please drop me a line. You can leave CD's at the Providence (130 Western Road, Brighton, BN3 1DA) or if you send me your MySpace details i will listen to the music on your page.
Sounds Like: We like to stick tracks up on this page of our favourite bands which have performed at The Providence. They change every so often but if you like what you hear just look the bands up on our friends page or send us an email and we'll give you some info on where to get more stuff.visit link
