AKAHUM
Weaving together trancey dub vibes with a cool, ethnic flavour, Akahum generate thundering dance rhythms and complex soundscapes. They comple the show with breathtaking original video projections. Uli met Akahum in Germany, February 2007, and has guested on two of their European tours. Uli has since relocated to the UK and is now a full time member. David, Zenga and Lyndon have been playing together for over seven years. In their previous incarnation as UNLIMBO they produced six albums including Prahna Fish, Unlimbits and Nine Lives. They have played at hundreds of clubs, venues and festivals throughout Europe with positive reviews and radio plays all over the world.
Fans of dub, dance, psytrance and world music will love AKAHUM 's new album ELECTWISTERY - sounds for festival fields and club dancefloors. Grooves that make you move.
"Wow, talk about cosmic GROOVES! ... Electro dance beats ... Spaced out salsa ... Dreamy brain massage" Jerry Kranitz, Aural Innovations Radio, US
"Euphoric dance and ethnic impulse with lightness and irony transmitting positive feelings" Giovanni Carta, Arlequins, Italy
