My number one hero is my daughter. She reminds me to love life, and live it to the fullest daily. Without her I wouldn't be here to type this right now. She is amazing, and she changed my life. I love her more than anything in the world.
The other major hero in my life is my nephew Aaron.
I am an autism advocate. I have had autistic people in my life. The strongest one is my nephew, Aaron. I could tell there was something different about him early on. Eventually he was diagnosed with Autism. I have been there watching him grow. Going to doctor appointments. Teaching him. Showing him how to be affectionate, and how to show people that you love them. Side by side with my sister, and brother. I have been there to help them with him. Not because they can't do it on their own. I know they are amazing parents, and have the love & strength to do it. But because I want to be there. I watched that little boy go from completely closed up to come out of his shell. He is amazing. That beautiful soul changed my life, forever. I will be starting school to get my teachers degree in Autism soon. It is a subject that I am highly interested in, and passionate about. The other heroes in my life are Melissa & Chuck (sister & brother in law). Not only are they devoted, and amazing parents, but they have helped me so much in my major time of need. They took me out of a bad situation, and put me into a good one. They love their kids, and everyone around them selflessly without asking for anything in return. Those are qualities that are so hard to find in this day & age.
I have so many beautiful people in my life. I am very lucky.
