About Me

CREATING THE BUZZ... ...Everymatic is a Glasgow-based regional press and radio promotions company. A unique presence in the Scottish music industry, Everymatic works with both signed and unsigned bands and artists from across the UK, Europe and the US to raise (and maintain) their profiles in local press and radio (including university and online media) and to ensure regional media is generally kept well informed of touring acts and current releases...Our service affords bands and artists - many of whom might otherwise not have access to such a service - the opportunity to achieve that much-needed ’buzz’…Everymatic works closely with bands, solo artists, management companies and labels to project-manage the regional promotion of EP/single/album releases, tours and one-off shows…IF YOU’D LIKE MORE DETAILS ON CAMPAIGNS, PLEASE PHONE US ON 0141 204 3567…Festival and event promotion is also a successful – and growing - part of our remit…Finally, we also work as a media and music industry consultant to Scottish colleges and on a consultancy basis with a range of creative organisations. Sounds Like: THOUGH birds we might be, we are NOT your run-of-the-mill, common-or-garden PR entity. We don’t do gush. We don’t do shmooze. We don’t indulge rabid egos and we wont blow hot air into creative vaccums. We do, however, work closely with The Media and our roster of Lovelies to carry out creative, effective campaigns and gather useful feedback. Everymatic also remains committed to supporting the best that Scotland and the UK - its bedroom studios, unsigned acts, independent labels and its local music ‘scenes’ - has to offer... And as the company’s reputation continues to grow, we’re working with some great organisations and artists in the UK, US and Europe...2007 saw us working with some fine musicians, including Saddle Creek’s NOW IT’S OVERHEAD, STRIKE THE COLOURS, TERRA DIABLO, enigmatic Fifers YOSHI, the late, great AEREOGRAMME and former Delgados’ frontwoman-turned-solo-artist EMMA POLLOCK, signed to 4AD...2008 began with single releases by O2 Undiscovered winner EOGHAN COLGAN and up-and-coming melody makers PLAYTONE... and we’re excited to be part of TUNE UP (Jan-May), a Scottish Arts Council project that takes local and international artists and their innovative shows to venues across Scotland, from The Borders to Orkney. This year’s line-up includes brilliant chamber ensemble MR MCFALL’S CHAMBER, who pay tribute to the late MARTYN BENNETT, BBC Radio Folk Award Winners LAU, jazz&soul talent ESKA MTUNGWAZI, A BAND CALLED QUINN and KING CREOSOTE, EMMA POLLOCK, KIM EDGAR, KARINE POLWART, FUTURE PILOT AKA and MC SOOM T (’Burnsong’)... SCOTLAND@SXSW (supported by SAC) is a major event in the media and music industry calendar and Everymatic has been working with NY-based TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS PR to ensure the Scottish presence at SXSW - SONS & DAUGHTERS, FRIGHTENED RABBIT, THE DYKEENIES,THE LAW, POPUP and MAKE MODEL, among others - get the attention they deserve... THE HAZEY JANES will release new single ’New York’ (19th May) from their forthcoming second album ’HANDS AROUND THE CITY’. This will be accompanied by announcements about the band’s new deals in the US and Europe and a UK-wide tour... BBC broadcaster and musician MARY ANN KENNEDY and fellow Gael singers ’NA SEOID’ (The Heroes) revise some Scottish musical traditions and Gaelic song with new album ’MARY ANN KENNEDY & NA SEOID’, released April 21st... We’re also pleased to announce that we’ll be working with one of the city’s most innovative, small-but-perfectly-formed festivals HEY YOU!GET OFF MY PAVEMENT, which ended last year with an impromptu performance by Franz Ferdinand.
